Galtons Cottage

Galtons Cottage is a 200-year-old thatched cottage close to all amenities in the village of West Moors in Dorset, next to beautiful countryside and arterial roads to London, and yet secluded. This charming cottage has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Sleeps up to 14 and is available for bookings from October 2021 onwards.

This 200 year old beautiful cottage has a bright airy extension for the large kitchen and dining area able to seat up to 16 people at once, but also full of  charm for the rest of the cottage, with beams, inglenook fireplace and wood stove.

Galtons Cottage has lovely large gardens to the front and rear, perfect for team building exercises and outdoor games. There is a hot tub and secure patio area to the rear, as well as a Games Barn to the side of the house with table tennis and table football.

There is off road parking for 4 + cars with good road links and public transport nearby.

Children and pets are allowed, as well as parties are allowed.

A wonderful Welcome pack is provided including a bottle of Prosecco, New Forest Spring Water locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscotti Biscuits, Milk, Tea & Coffee. There is also a Go New Forest discount card to be used locally which can provide discounts when used with participating businesses.

Galtons Cottage is located in rural Dorset, within easy reach of the A31. It is around a 30 minute drive from beachside town Bournemouth, and around a 20 minute drive from Bournemouth Airport.

Additional facilities available

Hot tub a 5 person hot tub is available on request at a cost of £300 for a weekend and £375 for the week.
Additional accommodation in ‘Jessica’ our vintage VW Bay campervan, which sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children under 8. Jessica will be parked in front of the garage, within a few yards of the house and only provides additional sleeping accommodation. For more details please see here.

There is a £250 refundable security deposit to ensure against damage, pets are charged at £35 each
